He is focused on marketing effectiveness of the digital part of the businesses and believes in the right execution of digital marketing for sustainability in the long term.

Alper has deep knowledge of e-commerce, the driver of growth for most of the companies in the 21st century. He is passionate about continuous improvement in CPA and ROI for digital marketing. He believes every move on the net is traceable and the results of all digital marketing activities should lead to numbers. He has successfully built up digital community strategies to support the future of the companies via dedicated and passionate brand ambassadors which leads to glocalization.

Another area that he works is to achieve fluid consumer experience and seamless purchase journeys. He has led several projects where the consumer starts by visiting the web site and ends up with a purchase.

Alper is currently a partner and Managing Director of Poligon Interactive, one of the pioneers of digital agencies in Turkey. He has been running his business since 1997 with continuous growth, serving many global customers like Arcelik, BSH, Bayer, Chevrolet, Dacia, Diversey, Gant, Hyundai, Lacoste, Michelin, Nautica, Nivea, Nissan, Opel, Osram, Pfizer, Philips, Peugeot, Renault, Siemens.

Alper was graduated from Middle East Technical University, with the degree of BSc in Electronics. He also has a Master of Science Degree in Biomedical Electronics with 17 internationally refereed articles.

He is a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. He has an excellent command of English and a basic command of French.

Lesley has more than 25 years of strategic marketing experience across agencies, FMCG, sport, leisure, property, and social enterprise and is committed to the discovery of the optimal customer journey. Her training in media management and marketing began in South Africa with Unilever, where managing customer insights across household brands led to a career in communications planning. Devoted to generating the best ROI for brands, Lesley’s planning expertise has spanned four continents across big brands like Mars Foods, Mandarin Hotel Group, De Beers Diamonds and Sainsbury’s; is a member of Smart Insights; and was schooled in direct, digital and integrated marketing by Dave Chaffey at the IDM.

Most recently, Lesley developed the marketing services for a top media planning agency, Space & Time Media, to see a dramatic increase of over 80% in revenues in three years. She contributed to the achievement of several awards including the coveted Elite media agency status in the DRUM independent agency network. Here Lesley’s passion for lifelong learning saw her launch the Space Academy for training and development in collaboration with CIM as the awarding body. During her time at Space & Time she worked with the country’s top house builders to deliver bespoke online and offline solutions for brands like Miller Homes, Taylor Wimpey and Linden Homes. Her specialism of integration of the online and offline world of brand messaging can be witnessed in the launch of many online processes for selling homes online.

Preceding the 2012 Olympics Lesley worked with Sport England to establish the first segmentation model for Sports and Leisure management and drove participation in sports and leisure across London. Leading the integrated team of marketers and community development officers she customised and developed the online experiences for London’s largest social enterprise and shaped the third sector ‘Better’ brand from GLL. Lesley has served leading social enterprises like the Eden project, London 2012 Olympics, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen and many more in their pursuit of profit for a purpose. Her passion for marketing that makes a positive difference to the world we live in has led her to make substantial contributions to companies and brands that put the community at the heart of what they do.

Memosh is an international FMCG leader with over 26 years experience. Memosh got an MBA degree from LUMS, followed up with executive leadership programs from IESE, Thunderbird and MIT.

He gained his early career sales and marketing experience with Unilever and Henkel, responsible for Personal Care brands Rexona and Lifebuoy in South West Asia and home care brands Persil and Pril in the Middle East.

Memosh then served as Managing director for Henkel GCC Laundry and Home Care for 7 years. Under his award winning leadership Henkel GCC became the top performing subsidiary, where he conceived business transforming launches of Persil Black laundry wash and DAC home Disinfectants range. Memosh also held a Global Head role with Henkel based out of Germany, responsible for global marketing and innovation controlling, gross profit steering and sales forecasting. Recently, he has been the CEO of largest local dairy business and Senior Vice Chairman of Pakistan Dairy Association. Lila holds a Doctorate Degree in Business administration from Grenoble Graduate Management School. She brings a 25 years’ experience from FMCG and durable products having worked as Marketing Manager, Trade Marketing Manager and Chief Marketing Officer in Unilever and Toyota in Europe and in the UK. In Unilever she was responsible for the launch of global brands like Dove Range and Persil tablets and for the implementation of trade initiatives like the Efficient Customer Replenishment program aiming at improving shelf-space ROI. While in Unilever she was also responsible for one of the first customer loyalty projects in the European market and has conducted extensive research on the subject of the effect of direct mail on long term customer loyalty and customer satisfaction. As a CMO in Toyota she was responsible for the successful launch of NG Yaris, Corolla and RAV4 and for the implementation of marketing automation projects aiming at improving customers’ digital experience. Lila has been lecturing on Marketing Strategy, International Marketing, Digital Marketing and Customer Experience Management. Having worked as a client, academic and consultant, Lila brings an integrated knowledge and a 360 perspective to projects.

Louis Olivieri

Louis joined the RedRoute team in 2019. He is based in Malta and designated with RRI’s business within the South European Region. After climbing up the career ladder performing various Marketing and corporate roles, Louis set up his own private practice in 2006, offering marketing consultancy, business development and advising companies in diverse sectors.

With his passion for marketing, in parallel to his private practice, Louis enjoys creating marketing roles and playing an active role in staff guidance, mentoring and marketing training. He also takes initiatives to contribute towards the development of the marketing profession. Simon Smallwood

Simon has been working with RedRoute since 2014 and has led our consultancy assignments for a number of key clients across Europe. He has consulted to major manufacturers and retailers around the world for over 15 years. Prior to this his roles included senior positions with ‘blue-chip’ multinational FMCG companies, (Gillette, Duracell and Smith & Nephew). Simon’s consulting work has taken him as far afield as Japan, California and Siberia. The clients Simon has worked with include, BAT, Pfizer, Targus EMEA and Targus Global, Aeon and Kao in Japan, (a succession of projects over several years), Efes in Russia and Turkey, and SAB in South Africa and Coca Cola in several European markets. The projects Simon has worked on have been diverse and challenging from optimising the complex and delicate relationship between supplier and customer to drive growth, profitability and brand health, to restructuring an entire salesforce for optimal efficiency and effectiveness. Category Management expert Simon has worked with ECR Europe, retail and supplier organisations on many Category Management programmes. He developed and delivered a Category Management training programme for ECR/GS1 Benelux and co-wrote the Best Practice ‘Day to Day Category Management’ programme for ECR Europe. Simon is used to working with, analysing and finding insights from large and diverse data sets to determine trends, patterns and influencers that can guide clients in the formulation and implementation of winning strategies. Simon is very experienced with working with multi-disciplinary teams, especially in non-English speaking markets, and managing the input from internal and external stakeholders to support the project team achieve the desired outcome for the business.

Nigel Wood

Nigel has extensive retail marketing & finance experience gained from his previous senior management roles at Sainsburys and Homebase. These roles included the management of major MI projects; directing and commissioning software vendors such as Oracle and Analitica; Head of Finance Systems at Sainsburys for 3 years; Head of the Location Planning Team responsible for site assessment and performance evaluation; senior manager in the Business Insights team managing key research providers such as Nielsen, TNS and IRI. Nigel is a qualified accountant, is PRINCE2 project management qualified and has an MBA from London’s Cass Business School. Nigel joined RedRoute from Sainsburys in February 2010 and is responsible for project management and the provision of RedRoute’s client-facing on-line marketing information systems.
