Master/PhD in Economics from EAESP FGV-SP (São Paulo, Brazil), MBA Sloan Fellows from the MIT-Massachusetts Institute of Technology and International Exchange program with London Business School and Bocconi University Milan.

For 13 years he was a Partner and CEO of Brand Finance for Latin America. He was also Executive Director and Partner of Ana Couto Branding for two years, leading Branded Business. He is currently Founder and CEO of Brand Dx (www.branddx.com.br), a digital and data science branding business consulting firm based in São Paulo.

Led more than 500 brand value, strategy and marketing consulting projects for clients such as: Cemig, Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Vivo, HP Invent, La Perla, Rede Globo, Sony, Nivea, WWF, UNICEF, Citroen, Dow Chemical, Par Perfeito, CBF, Grendene, Submarino, Americanas, Shoptime, Polishop, among others.

Worked for 10 years for Ernst & Young, Avon and Motorola, Brazil and USA, in Corporate Finance, M&A, Strategic Planning and Marketing. Gilson published two books: “Marca -Valor do Intangível And “Marca Brasil”, available on Amazon.

He is a reference in brand value, branding date science and strategy.
