RedRoute’s milestone achievement! Our first decade!
The 10-year anniversary of RedRoute International was a 5-star celebration! The weather was fantastic which only enhanced the atmosphere and fabulous location of Westminster.
Steve greeted us at The Abbey Room, Church House, near to Parliament Square for a brief status update followed by the formal cutting of the anniversary cake (who doesn’t like cake!) and a glass of champagne, which was then complimented by a delicious lunch in these stunning surroundings! The man’s a natural at throwing great parties!
Not wishing to waste a moment of the afternoon sun, we ambled to Victoria Embankment to catch a river boat up to Greenwich. The boatman was a ‘Southender’ with a great gift for comic timing so for the entire cruise we were entertained with historical facts and personal opinions! Wharf … where did this word come from? ‘Ware House At River Front’ and there was more of course.
Returning to the Embankment, we walked in the late afternoon sun through Green Park to Piccadilly for a fun and informative evening exploring the mysteries and charms in the production and consumption of Gin. Ian Buxton was our spirits expert and bon viveur, as well as author of the book “101 Gins to Try before You Die”. We were joined by a mixture of clients, former clients, marketing colleagues and associates at the Athenaeum Hotel for an exceptionally entertaining and gastronomic evening!
Thank you to Steve, Richard and Nick!
